Authoritarians stop certain types of speech that are critical of certain views. That then leads to a situation of stasis, where there's one view (or model) of the world, and very few mechanisms to allow that world view to improve. 

There's no criticism allowed, because criticism is seen as a threatening challenge to authority, and therefore none is allowed. And that is what we were faced very materially throughout the whole Covid saga – 'trust the experts', 'follow the science', 'conform with community standards'. 

Preceding and particularly during the Covid crisis, mis, dis and most specifically mal-information have become labels applied to perspectives that contradict authorities, but do not necessarily contradict objective truth (reality).

A tale for our times: Animal Farm as a stage production


The death of the animals for me symbolised the censorship happening today. You go against or question the mainstream narrative, and you are a domestic terrorist. And, as we know, some people have actually lost their livelihoods and lives through trying to warn people of the lies and the agenda.

The comparison of the animals' inability to read their overlords' commandments to the way in which our children are being dumbed down through the education system was clear as day to me. Orwell's pigs quickly use education, and the lack of it, to manipulate the other animals. Napoleon saw education as a way of indoctrinating "right-thinking" citizens from a young age.

I believe the powers that be have rewritten history time and time again, and—just like the farm animals—we have so quickly forgotten what life used to really be like. The animals were lied to and told that the farm was a lot better than it used to be, just as we are being lied to now. You are safer with constant CCTV surveillance, you are safer with social distancing, you are safer having your contact with family and friends through a screen. Lethal injections will save you from deadly diseases.

The planet can be saved if we use electric cars and spend ridiculous amounts of money on face masks for cows!

George Orwell's message that powerful people are cruel and selfish whether they are Conservative or Labour, capitalists or communists, humans or pigs is, I would say, spot on and brilliantly transferred to the stage in this production.

World Leaders All But Admit Major WHO Empowerment is Imminent

the British House of Commons Library, in an article published on 18 May just before the 75th World Health Assembly, noted that "[t]he WHO is negotiating a treaty on pandemic preparedness," the roots of which go back to March of 2021. The briefing document for MPs goes on to explain that March last year was when   
                                       "a group of world leaders", led by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson,
                                       "announced an initiative for a new treaty on pandemic preparedness and response."

The above-noted "group of world leaders" stated the following in a 30 March 2021 online article entitled No government can address the threat of pandemics alone—we must come together
From there, "the initiative was taken to the WHO and will be negotiated, drafted and debated by a newly-established Intergovernmental Negotiation Body."

The list of 25 world leaders who authored that statement bears more than a passing resemblance to a list of attendees at a Bilderberg Group, World Economic Forum or G7 meeting. Besides Boris Johnson, the list includes Dutch Prime Minister (and frequent Bilderberg attendee) Mark Rutte; WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus; and the rock star of democracy to many, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Others include Spanish premier Pedro Sánchez, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, and European Council President Charles Michel . . . . . .

In 'Brave New World Revisited', published in 1958, British author Aldous Huxley writes:

We are given two choices – famine or pestilence and war on the one hand, birth control on the other...how can those who ought to take the pill, but don't want to, be persuaded to change their minds? ... Stupidity and criminality go hand in hand. When you wake up every day wondering if they're finally going to catch up with all your crimes, you start obsessing. That turns into compromised affect that presents as absent-mindedness and preoccupation. Of course, he might just be stupid or senile too. I think it's probably all three in his case.
