FDA Quietly Grants Full Approval of Pfizer Comirnaty Vaccine for Adolescents

In a move Children's Health Defense President Mary Holland called "head-spinning," the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Friday granted full approval of Pfizer-BioNTech's Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine for adolescents 12 through 15 years old.

EUA products are experimental under U.S. law and cannot be mandated. A licensed vaccine, such as Comirnaty, can be mandated by employers and schools.

Although Pfizer's Comirnaty vaccine can be mandated, it has no liability shield.

Only COVID-19 vaccines distributed under EUA — which in the U.S. includes Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson — have liability protection under the 2005 Public Readiness and Preparedness Act (PREP).

Under PREP, the only way an injured party can sue a pharmaceutical company for an injury caused by an EUA vaccine is if he or she can prove willful misconduct and if the U.S. government has also brought an enforcement action against the party for willful misconduct. No such lawsuit has ever succeeded.

Comirnaty cannot receive liability protection unless it is fully approved for children and added to the CDC's immunization schedule bringing it under the auspices of the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

Sri Lanka Just Fell.
The anti-growth environmental movement deserves much of the blame.

After World War II, Sri Lanka, like many poor nations, subsidized farmers to transition from biofertilizers, like manure, to chemical fertilizers in what is known as the Green Revolution. (This was popularized by Norman Borlaug, the Nobel Prize-winning agronomist.) Rice yields rose quickly, and the nation overcame chronic food shortages and started earning foreign revenue through the export of rubber and tea.

As yields rose, young people were able to get jobs in cities. Salaries increased—so much so that Sri Lanka became a middle-income nation.

But what looked like a dream to most Sri Lankans looked like a nightmare to many environmentalists in the West. In the 1970s, Stanford biologist Paul Ehrlich and other activists raged against the Green Revolution. They claimed that overpopulation would cause mass death and suffering and that humankind needed to play "triage." In other words, we had to let some people die so the rest of us could live.

U.S. and EU government officials pressured European drug regulators to rush approval of Pfizer-BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine despite safety concerns, according to leaked documents from the European Medicines Agency.

In a Nov. 19, 2020, email, Noel Wathion, then deputy executive director of the EMA, referenced a "TC" — shorthand for teleconference — "with the commissioner," referring to European Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen.

During the call, which Wathion described as "rather tense, at times even a bit unpleasant," von der Leyen warned the EMA what might happen "if the expectations are not being met" to quickly issue a CMA [Conditional Marketing Authorization] for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, "irrespective if such expectations are realistic or not."

The leaked documents revealed intense lobbying from high-level pharmaceutical and political figures in favor of a quick approval of the vaccine, despite the sentiment among EMA experts that a more robust scientific assessment of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was needed.

Trudeau gov't threatens to fine Canadians who don't use travel app requiring jab status
The Public Health Agency of Canada is doubling down on its efforts to pressure travelers to conform to its demands.

While the federal government of Trudeau "suspended" a COVID travel vaccine mandate on June 20, the much-maligned ArriveCAN app has remained in place.

As it stands now, all travelers arriving in Canada must use the ArriveCAN app to submit their travel and contact information, as well as any COVID vaccination details, before crossing the border or boarding a flight.

If you don't submit your travel information and proof of vaccination using ArriveCAN you could be fined $5,000," the government says.

ArriveCAN is a "free" download for Apple or Android phone users and is an app that tracks all travelers coming to today Canada to ensure they are following all COVID rules.

Those without a smartphone must still use ArriveCAN via a web browser, in which they must sign up an account with the government.

Canadians who are not jabbed are allowed to come home to Canada but must use the ArriveCAN app, produce a negative COVID test, and quarantine for 14 days.
